Volunteer Projects

Eccentric Bohemian and our teams have donated thousands of hours over the past fifteen years traveling intercontinentally supporting ecologically and environmentally aligned projects. Many projects included reforestation, regenerative agriculture, sustainable agriculture, alternative architecture (earth block, cobb and rammed earth construction), aquatic restoration, animal/wildlife rescue and rehoming, organic soil (re)generation, water purification and delivery, and radical self expression of musical, artistic, literary and spiritual pursuits.

Being involved with Eccentric Bohemian requires each participant to engage in volunteer activities at least once per year for at least 120 hours. There is no specific place or time to fulfill this requirement, however, the volunteer hours must be aligned with improving communities and benefit those who live in the community in a recognizable way. We emphasize volunteering because the benefit it brings to not only those receiving the support, but the volunteer as well.

Engaging in volunteering (also referred to as community service) brings immense psychological benefits. It contributes to enhanced mood and reduced stress levels. Volunteering has been linked to the release of the body’s natural mood enhancer endorphins such as seratonin and epinephrine.

Volunteering fosters social interaction and helps build a network of supportive relationships.
