The aroma of fresh organic compound engaged in an earthly delight with vegetation of herbs, fruits and vegetables drew me to this location. Having a sincere interest in the symbiosis among the hundreds of biological creatures that selflessly continue to provide everything we need from this bountiful rock we call home, visiting the Bowman Farm was undeniably revealing. The relationship with micro-organisms and macro-organisms is as important as the relationships we humans have with every aspect of our existence. Matthew and Charelle clearly and fully understand the necessity in maintaining the delicate ecological balance.
Near the intersection of South Valley Road and Bannock Highway on the outskirts of Pocatello is a meek and unsophisticated abode neatly nestled near aged elm trees and lush vegetation boasting fully encompassed polychromatic designs. Not only is this appealing to the eyes, it is appealing to all the senses. The earth and the ripening fruits and vegetables presented an almost intoxicating array of aromas that tickled the tongue and seduced salivation.
More to come about my experience with Bowman Farm. As I prepare to embark upon my next destination, I will long reflect upon the brief, yet impressive, Idaho experiences.
