Tzununa

QUAINT VILLAGE AT THE LAKE

Tzununa is one of the smallest villages on Lake Atitlán, and thankfully so. Following several nights of sitting with Nicole at the Eagles Nest, a quaint spot was more than welcome. There was a restaurant directly on the water front that we had a late brunch following an extended night. The food was incredible and delicious, and the price was graciously fair. Maya Moon Lodge and Cafe was closed upon our arrival and we waited a few minutes until a gal from Canada who worked their opened the doors and began her day. Maya Moon provided a delightful menu of various foods reasonably priced.

We took a Tuk-tuk to Blaine’s juice bar and restaurant where we enjoyed a fresh, delicious detoxifying juice to revitalize our energy. From there we visited our travel mates on the dock at the lake front . We finished out the day there and retired early.
