NEATLY NESTLED
Santiago la Laguna is neatly nestled in the south east corner of the lake. Although it is the largest village on the lake, it has the least amount of tourism and economic injection. We thoroughly enjoyed Santiago regardless of the seriously challenging landscape.
Following a few seriously long nights and days at Cosmic Convergence, we opted to skip a meal in Santiago and return to San Pedro for a break. We returned to San Pedro for a delicious meal and solid night rest.
We departed the following morning, heading back to Santiago – Cosmic Convergence- on the boat. A 7:30AM boat ride across the lake was cool and leaving the cozy comfort of the lodge was a reminder of the time of year. Soon enough the temperatures were back to normal.
