12 Universal Laws

1. Divine Oneness

The Law of Divine Oneness states that everything and everyone is intrinsically connected to one another as we all come from the same source. You have a substantial impact on the world with every word you say, thought you think, belief you hold, and action you take. Sometimes you’ll gain an understanding of how your words and actions affect others, and other times you may never fully become aware of how something you said or did had a ripple effect in the Universe.

This is the foundational law of the Universe, and it is rooted in empathy and compassion. As you gain awareness of how you are intrinsically connected to all beings, you cultivate more empathy for others. You are able to release anger and negative feelings toward another because you inherently understand that they are no different from you. We are all one.

2. Vibration

The Law of Vibration states that everything and every being is in a constant state of vibration, always emitting frequencies and energies that often aren’t seen on the surface. Everything is always in constant motion. Take a look around you. Every object you can see is emitting a certain frequency. Some are higher frequencies while some are lower.

Once you understand that you possess your own vibrational frequency, you realize you have the power to tune your frequency to a higher vibration. The vibrational frequency you emit has a profound effect on your daily experience. When you operate at a higher frequency, you invite a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment into your world.

3. Correspondence

This law states that patterns repeat throughout the Universe and on a personal level our reality is a mirror of what’s happening inside us at that moment. Think “As above, so below. As within, so without.” The Divine Universe continues to deliver the same lesson until you learn it. The Law of Correspondence states that patterns continue to repeat in the Universe on both major and minor scales. Consider recurring patterns in your own life.

The patterns we experience are directly correlated to our inner worlds. You are experiencing your outer world as a mirror of your inner world. Changes to your outer world experiences directly affects changes to your inner world. To release external chaos for example and invite more peace into your life, seek to cultivate peace and healing within.

4. Attraction

This Law states that like attracts like; the vibrations, beliefs, and emotions one puts into the world are what we receive in our lived experiences. Approaching daily life emitting feelings of joy, love, and positivity, you receive experiences in your life that mirror these emotions. When maintaining the negative attitude of victimhood, claiming everything adversely affects you, these are the experiences you will receive reflecting this thought.

The Law of Attraction is an invitation to engage in healthy positivity. It is important to release negative emotions and accept those times when you are truly unhappy or lacking. It is important to know in your consciousness that everything is working for your highest good and difficulties will pass. Explore these emotions with gentleness and compassion, learning from this experience, continuing to serve your highest good.

5. Inspired Action

This Law is inextricably connected to the Law of Attraction. It is often overlooked causing some to claim that the Law of Attraction fails them. You must take real, actionable, inspired steps in order to achieve your goals and invite your manifestations into your life. An inspired step is action derived from your inner knowing. It is when something deep within calls you to take action, even when it doesn’t make sense. Inspired action is based on surrendering to the guidance of the Divine Universe and listening to the call of your inner knowing.

Consider relationships or partnerships, whether personal or professional, you invest in vibrating at the frequency of success and positivity that you associate with finding that relationship. You attend costly meetings and expensive dinners focused on introducing you to that archetype. You place far too much focus on the financial aspects and associated benefits, thinking that only those in your category will attend. You think this is the best way to meet someone all the while your inner knowing is telling you to sign up for seminars or workshops. You resist because you really wanted to meet someone statistically predetermined. This is an action, a controlled action. However, attending a seminar or workshop would be an inspired action because it stems from a deeper inner knowledge that originates from your intuitive energy center, your core. We have been taught to mistrust one of the very essentials of existence, intuition. We must let go of our need to arrange and control and open ourselves to all possibilities to achieving goals that may otherwise been unconsidered.

6. Perpetual Transmutation of Energy

This Law states that energetically, everything in the Universe is constantly fluctuating, everything is dynamic. Many of these changes go unobserved because many happen at cellular levels.

Your vibrational frequency has the power to affect another’s, and another’s vibrational frequency can affect yours. Remain attentive to your own energy and others’ in your sphere. Often we fail to see our energy changing, but it can be felt. Positive energy can elevate your entire environment and positively affect those around you.

7. Cause and Effect

This Law states that all actions have corresponding reactions, or consequences. If you are familiar with Newton’s Third Law of Motion, putting the pieces together will be easy. When actions are from a place of sincerity, compassion, kindness and goodwill – the place of unconditoinal love, this will come back to you, although it may be seen at a later time rather than immediately.

This is directly tied to the Great Law of Karma. Relatively straightforward, this law highlights the direct relation between actions and events. Remain mindful of your energy when approaching a situation from a place of anger or resentment. Eventually you will be affected as a result.

8. Compensation

This Law is often tied to the phrase, “You reap what you sow.” This can have both a positive and a negative connotation. The idea is similar to the concepts in the Law of Attraction and the Law of Cause and Effect. Think of it in this manner: compensation can come in many forms, both positive and negative. What may appear positive on the surface may really be a negative thing, and what may appear negative on the surface can be a positive thing. A perspective is that you want a product or a service and you have been manifesting that result. When the time comes, the deal falls through for whatever reason and you think your manifestation has failed.

What is often overlooked is the Divine Universe may be sparing you negative experiences or toxic energy, disappointments that you no longer are required to experience, maybe because you have already learned that lesson, or the others involved may have learned theirs. Therefore, the karmic contract has been satisfied. It may also be because there was deception or dishonesty on your part (or the part of the product or service provider) that would have began the relationship from a dishonest perspective. If you did receive the product or service based on deception or dishonesty, later it would prove to be disasterous.

9. Relativity

This Law states that everything is neutral. We are inclined to compare things in our world when in actuality everything is neutral. Humans label things often as good or bad, rich or poor, enough or not enough. This is relativism and meaning is influenced by our own perspective and perception.

The important thing here is to remain mindful of biases and the labels placed on different experiences. When slipping into a state of despair, shift your perspective and view your situation from someone who has less than you. This can help you know that there is abundance all around, allowing you to fully embrace with gratitude and appreciation  all that is in daily life.

10. Polarity

This Law states that everything has an opposite, and the existence of these opposites is vital in helping us to gain a deeper perspective of our own lives. This law is about embracing contrast in your life; each experience teaches you to appreciate the the extreme opposite experience – or that which we would normally consider negative or positive, bad or good (labeling).

In order to love your life, it is counterintuitive to hate the experiences that have shaped you. Living through these experiences allows us to appreciate successes in a greater sense. These experiences serve your highest good. Think of it as always being two sides to a pancake – the inside and the outside, the top and the bottom , and the perimeter and the edge.

11. Rhythm

This Law relates to cycles and perpetual movement. Everything comes in cycles, nothing remains static indefinitely or even for a moment. We see this in the changing seasons and from life to death. This can be thought of in the human life cycle, from infant to toddler, adolescent, and adult; the aging process is a cycle that never stops.

This also manifests in ways that are often difficult to see without a wider perspective. Nothing lasts forever, and some life cycles are longer or shorter than others. Everything eventually comes to an end, just as it had a beginning. Knowing there is impermanence one can prepare for change or at least be aware that change is eminent.

With this knowledge, you are able to cultivate more calmness and peace within. Pay attention to your own inner rhythm, and to flow with each rhythm rather than resist it. Flow with your inner rhythm and nurture it.

12. Gender

This Law is less about male and female and more about masculine and feminine energy. The Law of Gender states there are two types of energy: masculine and feminine. In order to live a fulfilling, joyful, purpose-driven life, we must achieve a balance between these two energies.

Masculine energy is attributed to action, hustling, achieving, doing. Feminine energy is attributed to surrendering, allowing, patience, being. These energies are equal, neither superior nor inferior to the other. When you find a balance between the two, you’re able to live your truest, most authentic life.

Here, it’s also important to listen to your inner rhythm. When you’ve been in your masculine energy – hustle mode – for too long, your feminine energy may tell you it’s time to surrender – step back for a while – and allow yourself to just be. When you have been in your feminine energy for to long, your masculine energy will call upon you to act. It is important to achieve balance between the Divine masculine and Divine feminine energies in order to live more wholly and authentically.
