Culiacan

Brief Introduction

Culiacán, officially Culiacán Rosales, is a city in northwestern Mexico, the capital and largest city of both Culiacán Municipality and the state of Sinaloa. The city was founded on 29 September 1531 by the Spanish conquerors Lázaro de Cebreros and Nuño Beltrán de Guzmán under the name “Villa de San Miguel”, referring to its patron saint, Michael the Archangel.

CHARACTER

Culiacán is well known for its culture, luxuries, and celebrations. Its iconic sites include its historic center, Las Riberas Park, the flag or better known as dancing fountains and religious temples such as its Basilica Cathedral, the sanctuary, and the Lomita.

Culiacan Arrival

Upon arrival to Culiacán the aircraft (disappointing lack of cleanliness) completed its taxi and approached the terminal. The off-boarding process was smooth and seamless. Passengers gathered their personal effects and exited the aircraft.
