Unfortunately time spent in Mexico City for all three of my visits there was short. Mostly it was a short wait for a flight, a ride to Temescalapa, or a night or two at a hostel waiting for an early morning flight the following morning. In the future when traveling through Mexico City a longer stay would be preferred in order to visit more of the culture, specifically the market where the witches and shamans have their goods available.
It must be said, however, that at first my idea of Mexico City was that it is just another metropolitan area with a metropolitan vibe. That wasn’t the trip I was on at the moment as traveling is more my interests rather than being a tourist. I did get to travel around the city and take in some scenic areas.
